  1. Remove.bg

Remove background and erase objects from images instantly for free. I use this almost every day.

  2. Descript

One of my favorites! Write, record, transcribe, edit, collaborate, and share your videos and podcasts. Wicked cool.

  3. WordHippo

Do you overuse the word “great” in your writing? Me, too. Then I discovered WordHippo. It’s remarkable, arrestive, striking, eminent, august, seminal, magnanimous, paramount… You get the picture.

  4. Glasp

Glasp is a social web highlighter that people can highlight and organize quotes and thoughts from the web, and access other like-minded people’s learning. I really don’t use it for connecting with others. I use it as the best place for collecting ideas and tips to share with my BFFs.

  5. Mailbox Power

This is one of our SECRET WEAPONS! Direct mail is a FANTASTIC tool for generating new business. The best part is 99% of marketers and agencies today are pushing 100% DIGITAL marketing. What idiots. Full disclosure - this is an MLM. Bear with me. You still go to your Mailbox EVERY DAY, right? My smokin’ hot wife, Kay, and I have taught our clients for YEARS about the power of direct mail and they’re killing it. This is the BEST way to use it. Trust me. Don’t lose sleep about the MLM part. Just USE this and you’ll be cashing new checks.

  6. Loom

Record your screen, share your thoughts, and get things done faster with async video. I have no clue what “async” means. But here’s the deal. You can send personalized video emails to important people - clients, prospects, team members, your mother.

  7. Testimonial

Get testimonials from your customers with ease. Collecting testimonials is hard! In minutes, you can collect text and video testimonials from your customers with no need for a developer or website hosting.

  8. TempMail

Pay no attention to the 1995 page design. This is a great little tool you can use when you are researching the competition. You want to sign up for their newsletter, but don’t want them to know it’s you? Get a TempMail! Easy-peasy! Unless they ask you for a phone number, right? Read on.

  9. NumberBarn

A couple of years ago, we decided to get rid of our landlines. They were expensive and reminded me daily of how old we were. But we’d had our business and home numbers for over 35 years! NumberBarn to the rescue! We ported our landline numbers to them. Now for a measly $16.64/month, both numbers are still active. We receive both voicemails AND text messages (which we didn’t have when they were landlines). When a call or text comes in, NumberBarn sends me an email alert!

Oh, and connecting back to TempMail. You can BUY a number on NumberBarn, too!

  10. Wayback Machine

26+ years of web history accessible through the Wayback Machine  and they work with 1,000+ library and other partners through their Archive-It  program to identify important web pages. Who cares? This is a FANTASTIC idea-generator. For example, you can go back and study Apple’s website on June 30, 2007.

  11. Swiped.co

I almost didn’t put this here, because this is an absolute PhD education for copywriters. Many, many examples of marketing and advertising written by many of the world’s BEST. This is an amazing swipe file for getting new ideas!
